When I first met Matt I was concerned, I thought he was kind of a... farm boy from PA, a mountain man that lived in the woods, a man who used the term “Anyhoots”, which could easily have put an abrupt end to any budding romance. However, I stuck it out, told him how utterly unattractive “anyhoots” was, and he now says, “Anyhoots. Damn. Shit. Damn it”. Which is a serious improvement. Plus I've learned of his enjoyment of the old school hip hop which puts in a little edge where before their was none. The boy can shake his groove thang.
Since we've been spending time together, my vocabulary has expanded. There is what Matt's roommate Smarty refers to as, “The Swineford Dictionary”. Whenever Matt says something that makes one of us say, “WHAT??”, Smarty says, “Check your Swineford Dictionary”. He's a damn riot, that Swineford. I've begun tracking the dictionary and thought I'd share some of these terms, possibly spreading them across the nation, or the world. Enjoy.

Listen, farm boys rock. End of story. I grew up surrounded by them.
Are you in a competition with KJR to see who can go the longest without blogging?
As someone who has known and loved this man since elementary school ....You freakin' nailed it. Friends and family should thank you. As do I.
I laughed till I cried.
having known matty since i 15 years old this made me laugh SO SO SO much.....too funny. Long live Matty-Boomba-Latty-Smoking-a-Fatty.
This might be the funniest shit I've read in a long time. When I have a few more moments....I would like to add to this dictionary. I have known Matty since we were in 7th grade. He hasn't changed. I'm not sure how long you've known Matty, but Joe-Joe is right...you fucking nailed!! Much love Matty!
Wow... I wrote this so long ago yet Matty's friends seem to be recently discovering it. I met Matt December 06. I'm not sure what he would say about the idea of him not changing since 7th grade :) He's certainly one of a kind! Glad everyone is enjoying the blog... feel free to add to the dictionary, I'm sure there's tons I've forgotten.
